केवीके का अधिदेश इसके अनुप्रयोग और क्षमता विकास के लिए प्रौद्योगिकी मूल्यांकन और प्रदर्शन है।

अधिदेश को प्रभावी ढंग से लागू करने के लिए, केवीके के लिए निम्नलिखित गतिविधियों की परिकल्पना की गई है:

विभिन्न कृषि प्रणालियों के अंतर्गत कृषि प्रौद्योगिकियों की स्थान विशिष्टता का आकलन करने के लिए ऑन-फ़ार्म परीक्षण।
किसानों के खेतों पर प्रौद्योगिकियों की उत्पादन क्षमता स्थापित करने के लिए फ्रंटलाइन प्रदर्शन।
आधुनिक कृषि प्रौद्योगिकियों पर अपने ज्ञान और कौशल को अद्यतन करने के लिए किसानों और विस्तार कर्मियों की क्षमता विकास।
जिले की कृषि अर्थव्यवस्था में सुधार के लिए सार्वजनिक, निजी और स्वैच्छिक क्षेत्र की पहल का समर्थन करने के लिए कृषि प्रौद्योगिकियों के ज्ञान और संसाधन केंद्र के रूप में कार्य करना।
किसानों की रुचि के विभिन्न विषयों पर आईसीटी और अन्य मीडिया माध्यमों का उपयोग करके कृषि संबंधी सलाह प्रदान करना।
इसके अलावा, केवीके गुणवत्तापूर्ण तकनीकी उत्पादों (बीज और रोपण सामग्री) का उत्पादन करता है और इसे किसानों को उपलब्ध कराता है, फ्रंटलाइन विस्तार गतिविधियों का आयोजन करता है, चयनित कृषि नवाचारों की पहचान करता है और उनका दस्तावेजीकरण करता है और केवीके के जनादेश के भीतर चल रही योजनाओं और कार्यक्रमों के साथ जुड़ता है।

 

 

 

 

The mandate of KVK is Technology Assessment and Demonstration for its Application and Capacity Development.

To implement the mandate effectively, the following activities are envisaged for KVK :

  1. On-farm testing to assess the location specificity of agricultural technologies under various farming systems.
  2. Frontline demonstrations to establish production potential of technologies on the farmers’ fields.
  3. Capacity development of farmers and extension personnel to update their knowledge and skills on modern agricultural technologies.
  4. To work as Knowledge and Resource Centre of agricultural technologies for supporting initiatives of public, private and voluntary sector in improving the agricultural economy of the district.
  5. Provide farm advisories using ICT and other media means on varied subjects of interest to farmers.

In addition, KVK produce quality technological products (seed and planting material,) and make it available to farmers, organize frontline extension activities, identify and document selected farm innovations and converge with ongoing schemes and programs within the mandate of KVK.
